I Have Learned…
When I was a teenager, I attended a high school in a small town in the Midwest. I was active in the FFA, “the Future Farmers of America,” and probably learned more from my Vocational Agriculture class than in any other.
Three important things I learned were not only applicable to the viability of farm life, but also to the character, economy, health, safety, socialization, success and well-being of our Nation, not just our farm life.
1- I learned that when we had plenty of space, water, pasture, grain and hay to properly feed and care for the animals we had, we could maintain that level, or bring in more livestock if we deemed necessary. When the pasture was full and we had to depend on outside resources, we needed to close the gate and not create a burden on health, time or resources.
2- I learned that we needed to be selective in what (or who) we let in and there must always be a high probability for success, or the additions were unwarranted and often detrimental.
3- I learned that to perpetuate the continuance of, or worse yet, to increase the number of non-producers… to breed whole generations of non-producers dependent on the production of others was not in the best interest of a successful farm, and the same can be said about a Nation. The United States has had the “greenest pastures” in the World for decades, and millions want to come here, but generously giving them that right to “over-fill” our pastures is now depriving the rights of those who made America Great in the first place. We need to go on an “immigration diet,” and only take-in what and who we can accommodate in the best interests of both the new immigrants and the people already here.
The three principles I just referred to above, which I learned and applied in the FFA, should now be retaught and applied by a new version of an FFA… the “Future Framers of America,” to deal with our ever increasing population and ever decreasing resources. Our government… our constitution stipulates, that we are “A Nation Of the People, By the People and For the People. But People are The Problem… I repeat, “People Are The Problem.” The population of our Nation has more than doubled in my short lifetime and the World population and increased to over three and one-half times. Common sense dictates an eventual inevitable failure. Our planet, our population, has changed since the Biblical days of Genesis and the nakedness of the land and of Noah. We need to be ever vigilant of our borders, our health, resources, safety and our “pastures,” or soon… we will “Lose Our Gr Ass.”
When we allow, encourage, politicize and tolerate too many… too quickly to accommodate a healthy environment, to earn their right to be here, assimilate, prosper and provide for themselves, we do a disfavor, not only to our legal citizens burdened by uncontrolled immigration, but for the immigrants themselves… those who have legally waited in line and those who just snuck in. Fixing the “Immigration Problem” is a BIG deal… it is a costly deal… but it’s not just about “Dollars and Cents,” it’s about “Common Sense.” May the bastions of our educational system and government allow the “Great Force in our Universe” back into our society and a sense of “common good for all,” back into our lives.
Today, I Lost a Friend, a Hero, a Mentor
Today, I Lost a Friend, a Hero, a Mentor. I’m certain that Dr. Krauthammer didn’t know that he was all those things to me, but he was. He was a real man of extraordinary intelligence, talent and wisdom; a man of common sense and integrity; a renown news commentator and a Pulitzer Prize-Winner. He was the “big gun” in news analysis and reporting, and there aren’t many of his “caliber” left. We will miss him. 😢
He spent the majority of his life with a disability that would have defeated most men who would have given up and caved in… It never defeated Dr. Charles Krauthammer, a brilliant man who died today at 68. In my opinion, America lost one of our great thinkers and rare assets today. RIP my friend. 😇 Richard Jeffress, Jeffress.com
Today was a special day for Israel
Today was a special day for many people in the World, mostly Christians and especially Jews. A promise to move the USA Embassy, passed by Congress in 1995, during the Clinton Administration was fulfilled today as the Embassy was moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This not only fulfilled President Trump’s campaign promise, but that of his three preceding presidents.
In 1995 the United States Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act, which mandated the United States Israel Embassy be moved from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital of Jerusalem. Yet, for 23 years every United States president has signed a waiver to delay the move of the embassy.
However, because of continued pressure from Christians in several nations, President Trump has made a different decision than past presidents. He has chosen to uphold the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 and today the United States Embassy is officially opening in Jerusalem! This move is extremely important and exciting to Christians because of what scripture teaches us.
Israel is a nation created not by man but by God. The Lord gave the land of Israel to Abraham and his offspring in an everlasting covenant (Psalm 89:28-37). Genesis 12:2 God says to Abraham, “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.”
Israel is the birthplace of our Christian faith. Jesus Christ a Jew came first for His people, then for the Gentiles (Romans 1:16). The Jewish people gave birth to our sacred scriptures, the prophets, the disciples, and apostles. One only has to walk the streets of Israel to see scripture come to life in the Holy Land.
Israel is a beacon of freedom and prosperity in the midst of a difficult region of the world. Israel is often viewed as a tethered, snarling tiger threatening those who venture too near. They are a nation roughly the size of New Jersey, yet Israel draws the attention of the world because it is the birthplace of our faith.
I changed my opinion on the over-aggressiveness of Israel when I was there a few years ago. A enemy missile blew up the bridge, which our van would have crossed about two minutes later. I then realized, that missiles could attack and hit anywhere in Israel and particularly in Jerusalem (City), which is about the same size as Manhattan Island, NYC. It reminded me of my time in the “Green Zone” in Iraq, knowing that I was supposedly safe, but could be hit at anytime.
Today’s action was just a symbolic move to some, who thank God for this historic and exciting day to see the United States standing with Israel! To others, it’s a kick to the crotch of their Islamic ideologies and Israel will still, and maybe forever, have to defend against aggression.

Congrats to USA Olympic Women’s Hockey Team
Congratulations to the USA Olympic Women’s Hockey Team in an amazing 3-2 victory over Canada, often considered the Queen of Women’s Hockey. Monique Lamoureux-Morando tied it up 2-2 in the 3rd period and her twin sister, Jocelyne scored in the 6th round of the shoot-out and then 20-year-old goalie Maddie Rooney stopping a shot by Canada to seal Team USA’s first gold medal in 20 years.
Congrats to team captain Meghan Duggan, the coaches and the entire “Miracle On Ice” Team. Angela Ruggiero, 1998 gold medalist and Hockey Hall of Fame’r hung the gold around the necks of today’s winning team members. Congratulations… “The Miracle on Ice” Ladies.
Whatever happened to “Saying what we mean… Telling it like it is?”
An absolutely known shooter, a mass murderer is called an “Alleged shooter.” A known rapist, killer and cannibal is called a “Suspect;” and if unknown is called and “Un-sub.” Why is a leftist-liberal called a “Progressive”? And why the heck do we call a homosexual man a “Gay?” Is he more lighthearted, carefree and merry than “Straights?” Being “Politically Correct” may mean that a person is apathetic, cowardly, indifferent, passive, a pansy or pussy or just unknowing and ignorant. Why not just be polite?
A person, particularly a woman, who is “Fat” was called heavy-set, then over-weight, and now called “Curvaceous,” even though she is curved only one way… outward. And why are the Asian Americans and the European Americans discriminated against by not be properly identified as the “African Americans” are? Why are we being so preferential? Aren’t we all Americans? Oh, I forget, many are not! Young people brought here illegally are now called “Dreamers.” Now, I can’t tell anyone that I had a dream… they’ll think I am an illegal. Is it too terrible to just tell it like it is? Soon, the “PC” infested majority will also become the “SPAP”… the “Super Passive and Polite.” Won’t it be great?
Oh, and one more thing… never ever call anyone a “Bastard,” even though you know for sure he is, or you may end up in Facebook Jail, or even a real jail. At Christmas (that winter holiday), I won’t sing and put on my “gay apparel.” No way!. Maybe I will be forced to get a “PC” injection, or even become a “SPAP it.” NO!, That’s not a dream for me, that’s a nightmare. Being “PC” for me, is knowing what and who is correct… and that is becoming more difficult. I predict that lying, cheating and stealing and maybe even more hideous crimes will be called a “Boner” or a “Boo-Boo” in our “PC” future. What do you think? Comments must be politically correct please. But who knows… Maybe someday, we can say good-bye to “Political Correctness.”
Should We Eliminate Valentine’s Day? 😳
Should we eliminate Valentine’s Day? What!… No More Valentine’s Day… just too many unhappy people who got no Valentine wishes this year. Their fragile psyches were damaged, their self-esteem diminished and they felt discriminated against. No one showed love, romance, or even caring for these fragile teens, young adult cry-babies and even a few oldsters, who have no personal relationships and only communicate electronically. 😔
Their claim is, if they’re not getting any, or not enough, then no one should. So, unless the majority rises up and demands we keep it, or President Trump intervenes, the fragile, discriminated against minority will win again… and that wonderful holiday… Valentine’s Day will become a thing of the past. 😰
