Now, that the 9th Year of the Obama Regime has Concluded…
Now, that the 9th Year of the Obama Regime Control has Concluded… and the 1st year of the Trump Administration has drawn to a close, “We, the People” of America are wondering what the hell happened to the America we used to know? Even though President Trump has made some progress and is trying to keep his promises, the liberal Democrat regime are “shooting him in the foot” every step he takes. It is no doubt hard for President Trump to keep his campaign promise and “Drain the swamp, when he is constantly up to his ass in alligators.”
One of the very few things that I think Obama did well was to fill the swamp will alligators. He quietly, and with the media’s help, put his “own people”… his New World Order liberal leaders and followers in office, and ensured that it would take time and be difficult to replace them all.
And now, along with a disappointing and dysfunctional Congress; Racism at it’s worst in a half a century; The almighty NFL exhibiting disrespect for our Nation; Hollywood showing hate for Trump and all who support him; And the liberal media broadcasting that Trump can do nothing right, it certainly makes progress and promises difficult. Obama rid the swamp of all he didn’t like and the media was quite. Trump fires someone and the media makes it out as a crime.
Now, that the government has shutdown, those who caused the problem are still getting paid while millions of others are not. You can bet your assets, the Democrats will win and the Republicans loose this stupid stand-off. That’s just the way it is, and what pisses me off the most is… the very same A-Holes… (Congress) who are the problem will get paid as they always do, but our soldiers, and many others and their families, will go without pay… at least temporarily. Even a temporary pay stoppage for a soldier’s spouse may be a big problem. But those in Congress, “your high paid employees,” who are sworn to look out for you… there are hardly any of them who couldn’t survive the rest of their lives even if they never received another pay check. Most in Congress have more “in the bank,” than the average university/college graduate will make in his or her lifetime. Think about it. Doesn’t that piss you off also?
I think what we need is about 100 million signatures for a Constitutional Amendment… or at least a huge “Class Action Lawsuit to revise the Law so that those who create the problem, or are responsible for fixing it and don’t, do not benefit from their actions, or lack thereof. Total annual salaries alone for all congress is ~$93,625,000/ year and including Staff and Expenses totals ~$805,000,000. When divided by a 128 day work day schedule (64% of average workers) it costs ~$6,290,000 per work day for Congress. And remember, they get a pensions for life, great and inexpensive medical coverage and several other benefits.
So, when you hear one of your “employees” complaining about their pay and work-load, just remind them that the average American, who they supposedly serve, makes less than a quarter of what they do and that is for working 200 days per year or more. So, I urge you to : Call, email or write to your employees… your Congressmen, and tell them what you think.

The Subversive Corollary Plaguing our Congress
The subversive corollary plaguing our Congress: “Will the ‘big stink’ win out over the ‘sharp spikes’ of long-term, clearer thinking and action? The “seeds of hate and disruption” are increasingly sprouting, even with snow on the ground… geeze, “What a State our Nation is in !” What would Washington, Lincoln, Reagan or Martin Luther King or Jesus say? What would they do?
Raise Your Hand If You Are A Liberal Democrat
A first grade teacher explained to her class that she is a liberal Democrat. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were also liberal Democrats. Not really knowing what a liberal Democrat was, but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands flew up into the air.
There was one exception. A girl named Lucy had not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. “Because I’m not a liberal Democrat.” “Then,” asks the teacher, “What are you?”
“Why I’m a proud conservative Republican,” boasts the little girl. The teacher, a little perturbed and her face slightly red, asked Lucy why she is a conservative Republican.
“Well, I was brought up to trust in myself and be self-sufficient instead of relying on an intrusive government to care for me and do all of my thinking for me. My Dad and Mom are very smart and they are both conservative Republicans, and I am a conservative Republican too.”
The teacher, now angry, loudly said, “That’s no reason! What if your Mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron too? What would you be then?” The teacher paused and smiled.
Lucy quickly and loudly said, “Then, I’d be a liberal Democrat.”

Examples of Tax Calculations
7. Single tax payer or married filing separately (3 examples):
.1 Works half-time at minimum wage: Income $7,540.
Takes standard deduction… owes nothing. Tax= $0
.2 Works 40 hrs/wk for 50 wks at $15.00/hr=$30,000;
Std Ded $10,000, Tax Inc=$20,000 x 1%=200 Tax= $200
.3 Professional athlete, Income $6,400,000/year:
Itemized deductions, $200,000. Tax Inc= $6.38 Million:
8 step calculation at rates shown above gives: Tax= $2,521,500
8. Married Couple, living together filing Jointly (5 examples):
.1 Tot. Income, $27,000 – Std Ded of $20,0000= $7,000 Tax= $ 70
.2 Tot. income, $42,000 – Std Ded of $20,000= $22,000: Tax= $220
.3 Tot. Income, $160,000 – Std Ded= $140,000, so the: Tax= $12,500
.4 Tot. Income, $256,000- Itmz’d Ded of $86,000, then Tax= $17,000
.5 Tot. Income, 17,360,000- Itmz’d Ded of $2,320,000: Tax= $9,361,500
Note: Pro Athletes, Movie stars & TV Personalities would finally pay their way.
9. Single Parent Head of Household
.1 Mother, Her disabled mother and 3 children, 2 in College:
income of $42,000; Med & Edu Deds of $37,000, then Tax= $ 50
.2 Widowed Dad, Pension+SS= $84,000- Med, Edu &
Mortgage Int totaling $56,500, Tax Inc= $27,500, so Tax= $425
Common Sense Explanation of this Proposal
10. This is my “common sense explanation” (common sense being the key words) for why I think this tax reform proposal is Fair, is Sensible and is Workable. It simplifies the massive tax code that we now have, that only tax experts and some lawyers understand, and doesn’t require paying your tax expert for preparing your taxes.
.1 I realize it costs more for the IRS to collect taxes on low income than they collect, so maybe it would make sense to not require anyone who makes less than $50,000 to file nor pay tax. (See note at end) **
.2 Our current Immigration Laws & Policies are so conflicting and convoluted that it seems almost impossible to control, limit or find those who cross our borders. Our culture, our civilization, isn’t so civilized anymore and seems more divided now than ever before… some say more than during the Civil War.
.3 I also know that the government tries to track “everyone” and I can’t think of a more determined group than the IRS to do this job. So, I think and propose that “everyone” should take some responsibility for supporting our country peril and should pay “their fair share” to support it. This will also give the Internal Revenue Service the perfectly legal way of keeping track of and going after tax evaders.
.4 For those who make nothing or very little, they will pay nothing or very little, but it will be fair. Those who make a lot will pay a lot. They already do. The top 10% pays more that all the rest combined. If you only make $20,000, you spend it all, but if you make $20 million, you can probably scrape by with spending a few hundred thousand and can afford to pay more taxes. Bill & Melinda Gates, Warren Buffett and several other billionaires have publicly stated that they pay what is required by law, but agree that they should be paying more. Look at my proposed rates above. The poor pay little or no more than they currently do.
.5 The Standard Deduction and the Itemized Deductions (# 5 & # 6 above) seem fair, cover all I believe is necessary, protects the poor, the elderly and disabled and should certainly simplify the tax code and preparation. The poor and the really rich will complain and I’m sure the NFL, NBA, movie stars and TV celebrities will hate this idea, but I’m more concerned with the peril of the “Lower, Middle and Middle-Upper Class” than I am the “do nothing sloughs” at the bottom or the “billionaire oligarchs” at the top.
.6 Our ill-conceived “Affordable Health Care Act” needs to be majorly revised or replaced and Immigration needs serious attention, but that is a separate issue.
.7 The Urban Institute-Brookings Tax Policy Center estimates that 47 percent of households pay no federal income tax, whereas the Joint Committee on Taxation estimate that 53 percent of households paid no federal income tax during the past few years. If you split the difference then 50% pay no “federal Income Tax.? Other taxes, e.g., state, property, gasoline and sales taxes are paid, but this proposal is dealing only with “ Federal Income Tax.” I think it is time we all support our country. IF we demand more than we can afford, our national debt, now approaching $20.6 Billion (http://www.usdebtclock.org/) will continue to grow and when faith is lost in the almighty dollar and it falls, so will our economy and it will take your entire pay check or social security payment to take your “SO” (significant other) out for dinner at McDonalds.
.8 ** Now, referring back to my Item 10.1, if this tax proposal is still too long and complicated, then maybe we should just go to a very simple Tax Rate as follows: Income: $0 – $50 K, tax $0; $50 – $250 K, tax 10% of total; $250 – 500 K, tax 20%; $500 – 1 million, tax 30%; $1 – 5 million, tax 40%; and Greater than $5 million, tax 50%. So, what do you think? Will you reply with comments (constructive I hope); Send it to your Congressmen and help it go viral; Send death threats again; Or maybe just support “Draining the swamp,” demanding that our wasteful government find ways to be more efficient, effective and serve the will of “We the People,” instead of just their own selfish interests and preserving their jobs. Remember: “Bad things happen when good people do nothing.” Thanks for reading and following Jeffress.Com,
Sorry about the format changed from what I submitted.
Did Your Team Win Or Lose Today?
Today was a great day… for the News Media. They were ecstatic! It will go down as the highlight of the year thus far. The “Great Promise” was not fulfilled…. First by Obama, and now by Trump. It doesn’t make much difference whether you rooted for the Blue Team or the Red Team. In reality, you both lost. Your esteemed leaders who represent you and me in Washington, DC; Their pay and their government insurance didn’t change and won’t because they don’t play by the same rules they impose on you and me. They may be overjoyed or disappointed by today’s vote, but they personally didn’t lose a thing. They are the privileged elite and they rule at your expense and at your pleasure. Wait!… Did I say at your pleasure? $#!+… are you pleased? Or, maybe you will find others next election who just might serve your needs and those of the rest of us Americas better in the future.
The day YOU and I and a 160 million others insist that our elected leaders live and play buy the same rules and have the same programs, insurance, etc., as they impose on We The People we, will have a far better life. We simple, politically correct people, brainwashed into obedience, may someday wake up and demand a fare shake from our employees, those sworn to serve us… We may then have a better life, affordable insurance, lower costs, more efficient and effective government and therefor, lower taxes. We might even enjoy less stress from not having our strings jerked by the puppeteers we chose to lead us.
You may ask, what the hell do I know about it? Well, I once worked for the U.S.Senate and enjoyed the government insurance. Those were the good old days. When our oldest son was born, our total doctor, hospital and related bills that I was required to pay was $4.00, and that was because my wife had a TV in her room so that we could watch Neil Armstrong walk on the Moon. All other costs were paid. Thank you Uncle Sam… eh… I mean thank you taxpayers. Now the average birth related costs are a thousand times that much… about $4,000.00 total. But a pair of rubber gloves is billed at $ 8 to 12 dollars in the hospital but you can buy a pack of 100 equal quality gloves at Walmart, CVS or many other pharmacies for $8 to 12 dollars. I think that is ridiculous.
Obamascare… the “Affordable Health Care Act”, is a disaster… on life-support and will soon go comatose or just die in many areas as Health Insurance Companies decide to just “pull the plug.” The proposed bill that failed today was far from a good, equitable for all health care program. For those old enough to remember, this bill reminded me of the old joke from the 1950’s about trying to mate a Henry J Kaiser with an Edsel. Fortunately, we have moved on in car design, and just maybe we can move on and aspire, encourage, or demand that our elected leaders work together and work for us… We the People… preferably we legal Americans to resolve this issue and provide lower medical costs and truly affordable insurance. Wouldn’t that be great? If you have read this far…and you agree, why don’t you write to your employees in Washington, DC and remind them that they are sworn to serve YOU. Please, just do it.
