Posted 4th of July 2012:  Today Americans celebrate the 4th of July, the 236th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence.

We celebrate the vision, determination, wisdom and courage of our founding fathers for creating our Constitution and the standards which has allowed us to become the greatest nation on the face of the Earth.

We remember with reverence and distinction our military men and women how have fought to preserve our freedom and protect our way of life. We thank them for their service, and promise to help them transition back to their homeland and their families.

We pray that our National and State leaders will show some of the same common sense, wisdom and courage exhibited by our founding fathers, and eventually coalesce their ideas, legislative and executive actions and court rulings  resulting in what is good and right for the majority of Americans and not just for a political party or special interest groups, and certainly not as vindication for those in opposition.

We appeal to all Americans and those who are legally trying to gain citizenship, to stand for what they know is right, not falling for false promises, or sitting and waiting for someone else to do your work, but to get off your dead asses and make your voice heard and your vote count, and do your part to ensure America is the great land of the free, the home of the brave and the country you will be proud of with liberty and justice for all.

Remember the old cliche´- If it’s to be – It’s up top me.   So Americans, do you part.  God bless all of you and God bless America.
